Welcome to Star Spangled Inspections

We are a family run business with 1 inspector, Don.  Don is a retired Stationary Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the field. He has been chief engineer of all household renovations to include all phases of building, electrical and plumbing. The inspector has over 140 clock hours schooling in all phases of home inspection. Don continues his education and keeps on top of industry information to make sure the home buyer and home seller have a knowledgeable and honest inspector.

Our owner, Mary, is a high school science teacher who teaches in a local school system. As a teacher, Mary understands the importance of communication. Communicating with clients is the most important part of the home inspection. Each inspection is unique to the home and Don and Mary make sure all the information is presented in an easy to read report that highlights any notable areas that need to be addressed. We always invite clients to walk with us so that we can help them understand the major working parts of their home. 

We are not a large inspection business, Mary and Don both have jobs and prefer to help homeowners either in the late afternoon or on the weekends. We feel this helps our clients as well.  We would be happy to help you with your purchase or if you need to get presale information.
